The Dundee scene is never short of musical heroes, and now with a View sized hole to fill, it looks like we may have found a new contender in the form of indie 4-piece, Th13ves.
Although musically different from The View, they do have one similarity, the bassist is also from the Falconer family - Kyle's younger brother, Ronnie. However, the star of the show during Dreamers is lead vocalists and song writer Alan Turner. Bringing his heart-felt lyrics to life with some impressive vocals throughout.
Dreamers hooks you straight in and has you singing the chorus within a single listen. Influences shine through from the likes of Noel Gallagher and Embrace, but without sinking to much in to nostalgia, keeping it fresh and current.
With their debut gig on the 2nd of August in Dundee, it really is just the beginning of what is hopefully a dream journey. We wait with interest at how Th13ves develop.
