Dundee duo SAHARA formed and began releasing material in 2016 to much acclaim. Since then they’ve had a couple line-up changes, but founding members Adam Campbell and Megan McNally, have started 2018 with a bang. First was the instantly addictive indie track Never Get The Time, and now they’ve dropped their second belter, In Sufficiency.
The track has a garage-rock feel, but with big indie hooks which grab you and don’t let go. The searing urgency never drops from the first beat, with reverb vocals and influences ranging from The Strokes to Menace Beach.
SAHARA aim to continue writing and recording throughout 2018 with a fresh 4-piece lineup, let’s hope they get some time for a tour showcasing this terrific new material.
