Hailing from Bathgate, Pyro, are a rock duo consisting of Connor (Drums) and Cameron (Guitar). Since hearing early releases, we’ve been keen to see how Pyro have developed and with latest release Regret or Forget they’ve hit new heights.
The track stands as another progression for this young pair, starting with a more refined rock sound, the pulsating guitar riffs urge the track forward, culminating in a fierce solo. The vocals by Connor, are again more accomplished and with each track you can hear his confidence grow.
For a band so young, the two-piece have been in prolific form, releasing a 6-track EP last year, and now already with 2 releases in 2018. If they continue in this vein, the first LP won’t be far away. Hard to believe they are only 17!
With festival season in full swing, you’ll be able to catch the Pyro lads up north at Belladrum and Party at the Palace in Linlithgow.
