This time last year Primes were no doubt having "will we, won't we" discussions about starting a band, however fast forward 12 months, and they'll be delighted to have so much to celebrate as they reach their 1st anniversary. Just this year they've released four singles, sold out gigs across Scotland and made it on the infamous The Feeling circuit.
Their latest single Bodies, sees Primes take it up a notch with some of the biggest, anthemic melodies they've written. There’s massive Twin Atlantic-sized hooks, flanked by a slow-build verse. Vocalist Ollie Kitchen puts in his strongest performance, with well-placed harmonising by lead guitarist Sarah Monteith-Skelton.
We recently caught Primes live at a This Feeling gig in Edinburgh and can verify Bodies was amongst the top tracks of the night, proving the 3-piece have the talent to transfer this big-hitting indie sound from studio to stage.
With a busy few months filled with live dates, make sure you head along to a gig near you!
