Every week we are treated to some top quality releases from our bonnie land, and this week is no different. As ever we have a mix of some familiar faces in Neon Waltz and Honeyblood to new kids on the block like The Fences and Better Halves....

Neon Waltz - Friends Who Lost Control
Where: John O'Groats
When: 22nd March
Currently in the middle of a UK wide tour, Neon Waltz are back with a new found urgency as the pulsating riffs charge the track forward. Main vocalist, Jordan Shearer, puts in his most complete performance yet, is there any stopping them?
The Fences - Taxi Rank
Where: Clydebank
When: 1st March
No half measures with this indie outfit, it's been all in from the get go. Sold out gigs before a single was dropped and now we see their debut EP in the shape of 'Viddy Well Little Brother' - with pick of the bunch being Taxi Rank - a late night tale we can all relate too!
Th13ves - Angel
Where: Dundee
When: 22nd March
The third release from this close-knit group of pals from Dundee is all kinds of epic, with the trademark soaring chorus and heartfelt lyrics. The warmth within frontman Alan Turner's voice is palpable - it's hard not to be swept away. With a handful of gigs over the next few weeks you can imagine this one being belted back
Honeyblood - Glimmer
Where: Glasgow
When: 21st March
The second single since the announcement that Stina Tweeddale would be continuing solo is classic Honeyblood - a blend of raw, crunching guitars and glorious pop sensibilities. Album number three can't come soon enough!
Better Halves - Dreamcatcher
Where: Edinburgh
When: 14th March
Fresh out the blocks in 2019 with a terrific double release are indie outfit Better Halves. Lead song 'Dreamcatcher' is a track carefully constructed as the patient build is interjected with soft, gentle harmonies. On the flip-side is 'You Wouldn't Believe' a perfect companion piece, showing craft, melodies and maturity beyond their young years.
Fauves - Blank Eyes
Where: Glasgow
When: 15th March
Fauves kick start the year in the only way they know how - with a barrowload of funk and a chilled out indie-pop vibe. It's the most immediate track to date from Glasgow's premier groovers.
